Aerie was the first of STUDIO BECKER’s sculptural series, exploring the dynamics of forms and voids without the utilitarian constraints of furniture. Aerie is made of beech and walnut standing 20” tall with a 9”x9” base. The sphere sits on a small brass dowel and is removable. We find it oddly satisfying holding it.
